Last Chance Camp & Lodging – Terms & Policies

General Policies (Applies to All Guests)

Liability & Property Rights

  • WYOMING IS AN “AT YOUR OWN RISK” STATE. Any injury incurred during your stay is not the fault of the landowners.
  • The premises are privately owned, and Last Chance Camp Owners & Management reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, except where prohibited by law.
  • Guests are responsible for the actions of everyone in their party, including children and visitors.
  • No unauthorized guests. All visitors must have a reservation.

Check-In & Check-Out (Cheyenne Frontier Days Guests: Please SKIP to Bottom portion

  • Check-in: 8 AM – 8 PM (Arriving after dark? $25 late check-in f ee or park in the lot until morning.)
  • Check-out: 11 AM (Late check-out fee: $25 until 5 PM. After 5 PM, purchase another night for $50 cash.)
  • No Calls after 9PM – Be self sufficient. Arriving before dark is helpful but not necessary.
  • Undesignated Sites: Drive to an unoccupied picnic table in the prairie or Tent Camp in the tree row (signage). Park then text or call Christine (307-640-0697).

General Behavior & Courtesy

  • Quiet Hours: 9 PM – 6 AM (Enjoy Silence – no loud music, fighting, or disruptive behavior.)
  • Be respectful of people, property, and animals. No mean people, loud drunks, or “trashy” behavior.
  • Community Bonfire: Out by 1:30 AM | Outdoor Kitchen closes at 1:45 AM.
  • No littering! Trash services are limited—break down boxes, crush cans, and pick up your campsite. Smokers, dispose of cigarette butts properly.

Lodging Policies (Guesthouse, Horsebox, Tipi, Motorhome, Bell Tent)

Reservations & Cancellations

  • All bookings are final. No cancellations under $100 with a 2 day, $20 fee will be applied. Notification, via email to: Christine@LastChance.Camp
  • Our pricing is set low to keep stays very affordable. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult to rebook and impact on our ability to maintain overhead expenses.
  • Indoor plumbing is available in the Guesthouse. Showers 8 AM-9 PM.
  • Leave No Trace: Stay mindful, good humans make this all possible. Dumpster is on your way out.
  • Horsebox Guest Private: Compost toilet provided. Guests must dispose of trash and poop bags.
  • Tipi, Motorhome, Bell Tent: Use designated restrooms or port-a-pot, dispose of trash, tidy up.
  • Pets: Permitted in designated pet-friendly stays. Pet Poo & Trash to dumpster on the way out.
  • Chef’s Kitchen in the Guesthouse and/or Outdoor Cowboy Kitchen dishes, tables are cleaned by you!
  • No hammocks or chopping trees. All trees are hand-planted.

Camping Policies (RV & Tent Campers)

  • Generators: No loud or old generators (65 dBA or less). Off by 9PM, on at 6 AM.
  • Outdoor Shower SLIDES LEFT (barn door style). After shower SLIDE RIGHT and turn the door latch. Do NOT adjust water temp! Notify us if propane is out.
  • Campfires: Only in provided fire pits. No ground fires at campsites!
  • Tent campers: Use the outdoor kitchen for cooking.
  • Electric outlets are available at patios for device charging & personal care.
  • Dumping sewage or gray water is illegal—$500 fine.
  • Weather Prep: Wyoming storms come fast! Zip up, lock up, and secure your gear before leaving camp.

Final Notes

  • Knock-knock or ring the doorbell. It is our home.
  • Be mindful of limited services, conserve resources and keep the campground clean.

Cancellations

  • All bookings are final. No cancellations under $200 with a 5-day notification prior to 7/15/25. $60 cancel fee. Email to: Christine@LastChance.Camp
  • Gifting or selling your site: They must know the original reserved name and site number. They can email details to: Email to: Christine@LastChance.Camp,

Check-In & Check-Out

  • All attendees must have a reservation. Extra guests must sign up and agree to the Terms and Policies: $20 per person, per night, plus a $10 one-time fee for additional vehicles. Cash/Venmo
  • Early Check-in days: 8 AM! (Th-17, Fri-18th, Mon21st, Tue, 22nd, Wed 23rd !!
  • 11AM-8 PM (Arriving after dark parking is harder for us therefore, we now charge $25 late check-in fee or park in the HOLDING lot until 7/8AM.)
  • Upon arrival, pull forward and wait for staff assistance. Do not drive into the RV park until directed. If you don’t see us, come to the front door of the orange house and very orange door. 

Reservations 

  • No trading sites. We must know your location in case of an emergency, if you are uncomfortable, let staff know so we can place you in another location.

General Behavior & Courtesy

  • Generators: No loud or old generators (65 dBA or less). Off by 12 AM, On at 7 AM.
  • Quiet Hours: 2 AM – 7 AM (ENJOY Silence– Shhh! Go to Bed. Everyone thanks you.
  • Use the Designated Pick-Up Area for Uber, Lyft, and Taxi’s. Do not direct them inside the campground, this is an insurance infraction.
  • “Finals Sunday”: All outside items stowed away, pop out slides in so it’s ready to roll out. If you paid Sunday Night, tidy up. Crews are sweeping the grounds of all trash before they depart.
  • No indoor showering on “Finals Sunday”, the crew is very busy getting gone and/or going to the Rodeo!
  • Christine & Steve will be unavailable Sunday evening – we are resting!
